Meditation

Meditation is a great way not only to relax and get rid of all your stresses and worries but to tune into yourself and hopefully your guides, and learn more about yourself.

There are some great guided mediation CD's out there which I find very helpful when I mediate. But the best thing I find to do is to join a meditation circle.
I think a circle should not consist of more than eight people, otherwise it then turns into a free for all and I don’t think you will get out of it what you should. There should be a medium who will guide and show you how to protect yourself while you meditate, then discuss any issues you have afterwards.

Starting in a group will give you the confidence to meditate on your own. Make sure you have a room set a side with no disturbances, (like your bedroom) and as little noise as possible. This is not always possible as there are a lot of busy moms with children who want her undivided attention, which is why I recommend a circle.

If you live in the Lowestoft area I would strongly recommend Trish Holloway, details below.

Trish has a lot of workshops available and can also cater to group needs. From Life force mediation to intuition and creative visualization. For more information send an email to the above address.
I have found Trish to be a patient and a very knowledgeable person, and I am constantly learning from her, as I’m sure you will too.

Other places you can find out about circles is at your local spiritualist church. They give a wide range of information if your interested, plus the churches are a great way to get started on your spiritual journey.  The churches also have guest mediums who pass messages on to the congregation.  These church services are diffrent to what you would call a standard service. Try out your local church it is not scary they are always friendly and welcome new people, and above all enjoy it!
